Rev. Charles Russell serves as our Pastoral Care and Visitation Pastor. A retired minister, he served in the SBC and ABC/OHIO from 1971 through 2017. His educational background includes majors in English, Christian Education, and Theology, with studies at The University of the Cumberlands, Bryan College, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his wife, Kathie, have a blended family of 7 children, 17 grandchildren, and one very spoiled dog named Casper. His current ministries include providing pulpit supply in the Miami Baptist Association, teaching Wednesday evening Bible Study, singing in the choir, and substituting for the Berean Adult Bible School class. His favorite scripture passage is Ephesians 2:6–10!
